Get your dream on! Do the thing you’ve been saying you’re gonna make time to do! That’s tonight at 7pm ET (my time, your time may differ).
Brave Space for All Humans starts with a grounding embodiment practice. Then we all do something creative for 60 minutes. If you want to use the prompts, there are pages of them! If you want to ignore them, you are welcome to ignore them. There is no pressure in Brave Space, just a bunch of creatives doing our things.
At the end of the hour we have surprisingly deep discussions about the process of creating. Each person gets a chance to talk about their process, where they are, and how it went. Mostly we all learn so much from each other. It is heartening to hear when it goes well, and it is also really good to hear about when it was a struggle. We cheer each other!
Tonight there is time for SHARING afterwards. So if you want to share what you’re working on, up to 10 minutes or 1500 words, you can. Brave Space feedback is nurturing and designed to feed you back. You can decide on the kind of feedback you want. New projects often only want praise, to hear what landed, what moved us, and what we enjoyed. Other projects might be ready for comments about craft, what’s working well, and what we may be confused about. If you want each listener to summarize what they think they heard in terms of narrative, that can help you understand what is making sense, and what isn’t.
